Our 2019 Selection of Christmas Trees are NOW AVAILABLE! Many of our trees are displayed under cover so you can buy in the dry from our friendly staff.
We also sell a selection of Christmas Tree stands which all have a built in reservoir.
Nordman Fir - these are the most popular and are soft to touch.
A 'Low needle drop' tree.
Fraser Fir - Also low needle drop but generally slimmer trees. Ideal for more compact space, and also low needle drop.
Lodgepole Pine - A more open tree (similar to a Scots Pine), with good needle retention. Very open framework & good shape.
* Lodgepole and Fraser Firs are limited stocks, so please come early if you need one of these.
Pot Grown Trees - We also have a selection of pot grown Nordman Fir trees with roots which you can keep from year to year. These are ideal for standing out on the patio or by the front door. They can also be used indoors in a cool position, but make sure you acclimatise them to the outdoors after Christmas - if you put them straight in the garden, they could suffer! Ask our staff for more information.
Top Tree Tips :
There are a few golden rules when you have a Real Christmas Tree at home :
Please keep them as cool as possible - trees placed next to an open fire or scorching hot radiator can quickly dry out. Turn the heating down or place in a cooler spot in the lounge.
Keep your cut tree watered - even though it's been chopped down, your tree will still drink up to 3 pints of water a day. We sell Christmas tree Stands with a built in reservoir to hold water. This is well worth considering. Keep the stand topped up daily for the needles to stay fresh - and more importantly, to keep the needles on the tree!
If you want to buy early that's great - but you don't need to rush to get your tree up and decorated! Select your tree from us and simply keep it outdoors until you are ready to plant. That way you get the best selection and keep the tree fresher for longer.
TREECYCLE and raise funds for St Giles Hospice!
