All our Coach Trips depart from the Garden Centre, there are no pick ups on the way, so we get to the destination more quickly. You are welcome to leave your car in our car park for the day FREE!
Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and seats on the coaches are not reserved. Payment for the majority of our coach trips needs to be made in full when you book - due to the nature of booking shows and events we cannot offer refunds (unless we have to cancel - a full refund will then be made with as much notice given as possible).
If you change your mind : Please let us know as soon as possible. If the trip is full with a waiting list, we may be able to re-sell your ticket & give you a refund. If this is not the case, unfortunately we will not be able to refund any monies paid. PLEASE NOTE - Any coach holidays run by Pennywood Tours, our travel partner will be subject to THEIR terms and conditions.
* Garden Club Members get 10% Off the price on all Coach Day Trips (not on Coach Holidays organised by Pennywood Tours) - Discount applies to Club Member only. If you hold a joint membership, both card holders can take advantage of the 10% Discount.

NEW! Holidays with our travel partner Pennywood Tours
We have worked with Pennywood over the last few years, running successful mini breaks to explore the Bulbfields in Amsterdam, and the Great Gardens of South East England. You can look at their website at www.pennywoodtours.com for more details on all tours.
You can join any of the trips offered - for any that depart from the South East, Pennywood are able to arrange a local hotel and you will be able to leave your car at a local garden centre for the duration of your holiday. Pennywood's helpful staff can explain more about this when you book.

Chatsworth House & Christmas Market 2025

Enjoy seeing Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Dales decorated for Christmas. This year's theme is the Enchanted Garden. Explore 20 extraordinary spaces transformed with light, shadow and sound play. Through animated projections enchanted fairies are awakened while woodland creatures crouch in secret corners and tiny doorways hint at pathways to hidden lands.
Before entry to the house - and after your visit, take in the atmosphere of the popular Christmas Market where you can pick up lots of unique gifts for the festive season. Tickets include coach travel, timed entrance into the house and admission to the Market.
There are catering stalls in the market for food, and you can also use the on-site catering options. (Food is not included in ticket price)
Highclere Castle 'Downton Abbey'
Departs Wednesday 22nd July 2026, departing 9am - return approx 7.30pm

Highclere Castle has become world famous as the setting for ITV's popular drama series over the last few years. Explore the staterooms and see behind the scenes of where much of the programme (and new film!) was produced.
Your ticket also includes entrance to the Egyptian Exhibition located in the basement of the castle, where you can find out all about how the Earl of Carnarvon discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun.
There are a number of food & drink outlets serving hot & cold meals for you to purchase on the day.
* Please note large bags are not permitted on the Estate. You can leave bags on the coach or store them in lockers at Highclere (subject to charge & availability)
NEW FOR 2026! The Newt in Somerset

The Newt in Somerset (near Glastonbury) is a country estate with magnificent gardens which have been shaped over the last 200 years. Highlights include a walled garden, apple tree maze, 5 acres of formal gardens, and 100 acres of parkland & wildflower meadows.
Our day would consist of a garden tour, plus lunch and then free time to explore the gardens. To find out more about The Newt click HERE. If the name sounds familiar, they are the current sponsors of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
At this stage, we are gauging interest in visiting, probably in July or August midweek - if this trip appeals, please contact us asap with your details and if we get enough people we can get definite prices and a date.
Raymond Blanc's 'Le Manoir Aux Quat'saisons' Oxfordshire
October 2025 Update
Le Manoir is closing for major refurbishment in January 2026, and is not scheduled to reopen until some point in 2027. We were hoping to visit in summer 2026, but this is now not possible. We are on a waiting list of people waiting to rebook - so as soon as we get more news we'll let you know via our newsletter.
This will be a great day out, featuring a garden tour, champagne and canapes, followed by a four course Michelin starred meal plus all wine and drinks.
If you'd like to join us, please e-mail us your details or leave them with a member of staff when you call in. As soon as have enough people, we will be in touch with more details.
As a guide, the last trip was £385pp with Garden Club Members paying £349. Expect an increase in this (as with most things!) - we would take an initial deposit on booking, with the balance being due around 8 weeks before departure.
