All our Coach Trips depart from the Garden Centre, there are no pick ups on the way, so we get to the destination more quickly. You are welcome to leave your car in our car park for the day FREE!
Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and seats on the coaches are not reserved. Payment for the majority of our coach trips needs to be made in full when you book - due to the nature of booking shows and events we cannot offer refunds (unless we have to cancel - a full refund will then be made with as much notice given as possible).
If you change your mind : Please let us know as soon as possible. If the trip is full with a waiting list, we may be able to re-sell your ticket & give you a refund. If this is not the case, unfortunately we will not be able to refund any monies paid. PLEASE NOTE - Any coach holidays run by Pennywood Tours, our travel partner will be subject to THEIR terms and conditions.
* Garden Club Members get 10% Off the price on all Coach Day Trips (not on Coach Holidays organised by Pennywood Tours) - Discount applies to Club Member only. If you hold a joint membership, both card holders can take advantage of the 10% Discount.

NEW! Holidays with our travel partner Pennywood Tours
We have worked with Pennywood over the last few years, running successful mini breaks to explore the Bulbfields in Amsterdam, and the Great Gardens of South East England. You can look at their website at www.pennywoodtours.com for more details on all tours.
You can join any of the trips offered - for any that depart from the South East, Pennywood are able to arrange a local hotel and you will be able to leave your car at a local garden centre for the duration of your holiday. Pennywood's helpful staff can explain more about this when you book.

Windsor Castle NEW FOR 2026!

Join us on a day out to historic Windsor. We have timed ticket entry to Windsor Castle, the oldest & largest occupied castle in the world. Established in the 11th Century, it has been remodelled by successive kings & queens. Today the castle is regularly used for ceremonial & state
occasions and has been the home of 40 monarchs.
When your visit to the Castle is complete, meander into Windsor, have some lunch and enjoy exploring this famous town.
RHS Gardens Bridgewater, Manchester

This amazing newly restored garden is now the Royal Horticultural Society home in Manchester, located near Salford. Opened in the midst of the pandemic, the project is transforming an historic space into a beautiful green space for the local community & visitors to enjoy.
There are expansive new themed borders, community gardens, a walled garden, trial beds and much much more. The 156 acre site is still in it's infancy, so a great chance to visit a restoration project in the making.
Kew Gardens, London
Saturday 27th June, departs 8am

With over 320 acres of green space, Kew Gardens holds the largest and most diverse botanical collection in the world. There is so much to see, from the recently restored greenhouses and overflowing perennial borders, to the Temperate House, Palm House and Great Pagoda.
Take the lift to the Treetop Walkway where you can walk through the tree canopy 18 metres above the ground and get stunning views for miles around.
We will stop en route on the M40 for a comfort break, arriving at Kew late morning. The day is then yours to do as you please.
The Newt in Somerset NEW FOR 2026!

The Newt in Somerset (near Glastonbury) is a country estate with magnificent gardens which have been shaped over the last 200 years. Highlights include a walled garden, apple tree maze, 5 acres of formal gardens, and 100 acres of parkland & wildflower meadows.

RHS Badminton Flower Show, Gloucestershire NEW FOR 2026!

In July 2026, the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire will host the brand new RHS Badminton Flower Show. Highlights include exciting new plant combinations in the Pocket Planting Gardens, the RHS Artisan Gardens plus over 80 specialist nurseries. Sit back and enjoy music by the lakeside, gardening demonstrations on the stage and head to the Grow Your Own area for handy tips to take home.
The Badminton Estate, home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort, is a magnificent country house set within rolling parkland. Known for hosting the world-famous Badminton Horse Trials, the estate has also been location to films and TV programmes including The Gentlemen and Bridgerton.

A Victorian Masterpiece
At Biddulph Grange Garden you can take on a global journey, from Egyptian pyramids, a Himalayan Glen through an Italian Garden to a Victorian vision of China. The garden features collections of rhododendrons, a stunning Dahlia Walk, and the oldest Golden Larch in Britain, just to name a few.
It’s also home to the country’s oldest Stumpery, an unusual display of upside-down oak tree roots.
Highclere Castle 'Downton Abbey'

Highclere Castle has become world famous as the setting for ITV's popular drama series over the last few years. Explore the staterooms and see behind the scenes of where much of the programme (and new film!) was produced.
Your ticket also includes entrance to the Egyptian Exhibition located in the basement of the castle, where you can find out all about how the Earl of Carnarvon discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun.
There are a number of food & drink outlets serving hot & cold meals for you to purchase on the day.
* Please note large bags are not permitted on the Estate. You can leave bags on the coach or store them in lockers at Highclere (subject to charge & availability)
Rutland Flower Show NEW FOR 2026!
Saturday 15th August, departs 9am

A new show in the horticultural calendar, the Rutland Show is now in just its second year. Held at the Rutland Showground in Oakham, this family orientated show brings together national flower clubs, gardening clubs, and famous gardeners. The BBC's Carol Klein will be in attendance on Saturday, and the show will also host the following:

• Live Demonstrations
• Children's Activities
• Skilled Artisans
• Workshops

Buckingham Palace PLUS Garden Tour NEW FOR 2026!

Buckingham Palace serves as the official London residence of His Majesty The King. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. We have timed access to the State Rooms for the first part of this day.
After seeing inside the Palace, we then have a guided walking tour of the famous Palace Garden, where you’ll discover a beautiful herbaceous border, wisteria-clad summer house, rose garden plus the Palace tennis court, where King George IV & Fred Perry played in the 1930s.
Highgrove Gardens

We are a regular visitor to TRH The King and Queen Consort's home and garden in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. If you've not been before, the gardens are essentially 'Gardens within a Garden' which has been developed pretty much from scratch, since the King (then the Prince of Wales) took on the land many years ago. We take a guided tour along a 2 1/2 mile route, visiting the Stumpery, the Kitchen Garden, the Wildflower Meadow
and more, to see the huge variety of plants on show.
Price includes return coach, guided tour & 2 course lunch & glass of Wine or soft drink
