Coronavirus update - Any talks already booked are now cancelled for the forseeable future and we are no longer taking bookings for new talks at present.

 

We have been providing talks to local Gardening Groups, Women's Institutes and other Social Groups since the garden centre opened. Our talks last 45 minutes to 1 hour and can include a question and answer session at the end if required.

 

We generally offer a 'Plant Showcase' talk, which looks at plants that are coming into season or which are a little more unusual. We will bring the plants to the talk, along with a range of other new or essential non-plant products, explaining how to get the best from them. The benefit of this type of talk is that no two are ever the same, as the plant selection changes from week to week.

 

At the end of the talk, we offer all the products featured for sale.

 

 

Due to time restrictions and other commitments, We are only able to offer dates in February and March, then again from September to the middle of October (before we open Christmas!).

 

 

Please note due to staffing and work committments, we generally only offer evening talks (sometimes out of the busy season we are able to offer talks during the daytime as well - please enquire for details)

 

If you'd like to bring your group to us, perhaps for a lunch at Mabels Tearooms, followed by a talk or visit to the Garden Centre, we can arrange that too!

 

Some evening slots are available too, but we can only offer buffet style catering & hot/cold drinks on-site at the Centre. This would be for talks held during July and August (we don't have the space the rest of the year!) Please ask for details.
