Easter 2021 Coach Trip
Raymond Blanc's 'Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons'
Following the success of our 3 trips to Le Manoir, we will be returning to visit the world famous 'Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons'. This venue, hotel and restaurant is run by renowned chef Raymond Blanc OBE, and our day will be taking in a guided tour of his gardens along with a very special lunch. Departs Thursday 29th April 2021.
Located in the Oxfordshire countryside just off the M40, the venue holds two Michelin Stars, with many of the extensive grounds given over to organic fruit and vegetable production - much of the produce
is used at the Hotel itself.
There is also a seperate Herb Garden, again with most of the crops being cut for use in the meals prepared at the restaurant.
Our itinerary for the day begins at Curborough, where you leave your car to join the coach for an 0845 departure. We will take a short comfort stop at services close to the venue, so that we are ready to take the garden tour on arrival.
The group will be split into two, and Le Manoir's experienced gardeners will take us on a tour of the gardens. This will last around an hour. There will be an opportunity for you to revisit the gardens after lunch.
We then regroup for a Champagne reception with Canapes - this will be served in the Conservatory (pictured here on the right).
Lunch is served in 'La Belle Epoque' room (pictured left), which we have exclusive use of for the day. This room will hold 5 tables of 10 people, and each guest will have a personalised name card and souvenir menu to take home with them.
As we are still a long way from the departure date, we don't currently have the menu for 2021 - this will be updated as soon as we have confirmation from the hotel. As a guide, please see below what we ate for our previous summer trip...
Lunch consists of four courses :
Confit of Salmon, Elderflower, Radish and Yuzu
Ricotta and Honey Agnoletti, Tomato Essence
Oxfordshire Lamb, tender Baby Artichokes, Olive Scented Jus
Manjari Chocolate & Raspberry Crumble
A vegetarian option will be available.
Lunch also includes Half a bottle of wine per person (red, white or rose - selected by Le Manoir's Sommelier) with your meal, plus bottled water. There will also be a non-alcoholic alternative available.
After lunch, we will be served Coffees and Petits Fours.
Once lunch is over, we have some time at leisure to revisit the gardens, take photographs (or even book a weekend away!) before boarding the coach to head home to Lichfield.
We expect to return to the Garden Centre by around 7pm.
This very special day out would make a great birthday or anniversary gift, or just as a treat to yourself!
The ticket price is £279 per person. Our Garden Club Members pay a reduced price of £251 per person.
This price includes return coach travel, your meal and all drinks plus your guided tour around the gardens.
This trip was rescheduled from April 2020, due to the Coronavirus, and is currently fully booked.
Please contact us to add your name to the waiting list and if anyone is unable to make the new date, we will ask for £100 deposit to guarantee your place on this trip.

Find sanctuary in the Japanese Fugetsu-an Tea House and wander among the lush oriental planting.
The Orchard is home to 800 fruit trees and the garden uses traditional British methods to maintain sustainability.
There are many other fabulous trees and specimen shrubs around the grounds, and our guides will be able to answer any questions you have.
